Breaux Bridge, LA, is known for its Cajun food and Cajun dancing, and
especially for its famous Crawfish Festival.

Just 15 minutes away is Lafayette, LA, home to its Acadian culture filled with history, folklore and good food! Visitors to this area are drawn to Vermilionville and Acadian Village, parks which beautifully depict the Cajun-Creole way of life from a by-gone era. Festivals Acadien and Festivals International draw people from all over the world and of course Mardi Gras in Lafayette is a wonderful family oriented draw yearly.

Baton Rouge, our state capitol, is 45 minutes away, and New Orleans, is only 2 hrs.

River Road Plantations are only about an hour's drive with
such breathtaking views of the Mississippi River.

Directions

Take the I-10 Breaux Bridge Exit- 109. After you exit the interstate, go north , 1.9 miles and turn left on Poche Bridge Road.
Go to the end of this road and take a right. Go about one block and turn left on Hwy 341.
Go 1.5 miles (on the right you'll see our blue and white state hwy. sign....Cajun Country Cottages) turn left on Lawless Tauzin Rd. Go almost to the end. We are before the white picket fence.
(*at night head in the direction of the security light at the end of the road.) We are before the light and the white picket fence. Look for our blue and white state highway sign on the right that says "Cajun Country Cottages". Turn left and follow the little gravel road along the fence line to the large Acadian house in the back. (*at night you'll see the yellow porch lights and lighted wreath on front porch). This is the OFFICE.
** If we are not in the office when you arrive we will leave an envelope at the front door of the office in a wire basket hanging by the right front door. It will have your name on the envelope, along with your key and directions to your cottage.
